A Final Romp

Tomorrow Gracie will be heading back to her home in the US. So this morning was the final romp of the three amigos for the 2016 season.

They had a blast! The crew wishes safe travels for Gracie and her people and we look forward to seeing you again soon!

What a picture perfect day for the last romp for Gracie on the beach. Cool breezes, gentle waves, scattered clouds...why does it always have to end?

We're all convinced this daily ritual is really, really good for the dogs and their people! The mile and a half walk somehow gets divided into sections, "chicken bone curve," the pothole stretch, the ends, beach and marina, etc. it never seems very long. The dogs are generally tugging us to get there, whereas, they're somewhat dragging on the home bound leg.

They all do a lot of beach running, swimming and tugging always in competition for the bumper. And yes, we do wear the bumpers out. This exercising is great for the dogs and also ourselves.

Hopefully we'll all be doing this again soon.....

John and I and Gracie will truly miss our romps to the beach and back. We value your friendships, Karen, Jeff, Dylan, and Dee Dee and have enjoyed every minute on the beach and on our deck in the evenings. We will hope to catch up with you very soon as we all continue our nautical adventures.
Safe travels and fun times for you and your crew. Warmly, Marilyn

We could do it again tomorrow if you would just stay...

Have safe travels and stay in touch!
