Although I said "ICW smile" in the video, it's correctly called an "ICW moustache". Either way, it's a nasty thing to remove and everyone has their own special techniques and formulas to get it off.
Alligators - no. We were looking. Eagles - yes. Pungos - no (what's a pungo?). Palm trees - yes. There was, amazingly, a small set of properties for sale on the Pungo-Alligator Canal. One was $300,000 and had 2 baby palm trees set in front to somehow decorate the place a little. It was our first real palm tree siting although it's hard to believe it'll be alive next Spring.
Karen and Jeff have logged some 20,000 nautical miles cruising between Maine, Key West, and the Bahamas on their DeFever 53RPH named aCappella. Our crew are our yellow labrador retriever dogs - Dyna and Dylan. Dyna is 13 years old and was given to us after retiring from our breeder. She is Tucker's mother for those of you who know the full story. Dylan (Celtic god of the waves) is 4 years old and is the grandson of Dyna. Our blog and our adventures center around the voyages we take together generally through the eyes of our crew.
Karen and Jeff are the founders of ActiveCaptain (www.activecaptain.com).

try 'The Works' - green bottle. Oxalic acid. Use a spray and let it sit for a bit and rinse.
