It somehow seems fitting that we honor the one member of our canine crew that lived his whole life in the spotlight of TakingPaws with his own memorial blog post. I know we stopped the blog in the spring but this one is for us as a way to honor him.
Dylan is the sweet puppy on the blog masthead with his grandma Dyna. He lived his life traveling from Maine to the Bahamas amassing scores of friends and adventures. He brought us immeasurable joy.
Today he joined Duke, Tucker, Dyna, and many of his canine companions at the ultimate dog park. We miss you big guy.
We love you, Dylan.

Just saw this - so sorry for you. We followed Dylan's exploits through your wonderful blog over the years. While he was extremely important in your life, never forget that he hit the doggy lottery when becoming a part of your family. I'll be giving my Booster an extra hug for Dylan and you guys. I happened on an ad for Red Head today and it got me thinking about all the smiles your blog had given the world. We are so sorry for your loss. With his smiles and antics he wormed his way into the hearts of his followers. In one of your posts you said that 'it has been a hell of a ride', how true it is. Bless you all and safe travels in whatever the future brings.
