Three Dog Night

We left Olverson's to continue working our way south. Friends of ours from Vero Beach onboard a Krogen trawler named Fluke were anchored on the Great Wicomico River at Rogue Pt and we thought it would be nice to share the anchorage with them. We didn't know how cold it was going to be. Wicked cold. Richmond, Virginia broke their all-time record for cold last night.

For me, checking email on the settee was pretty nice with two dogs tired after moving just 30 miles down the bay. Karen, on the other hand, was complaining of being cold.

It's hard to believe that just this Tuesday we washed the whole boat wearing T-shirts and shorts. By Wednesday we wore long pants for the first time during the day. By Thursday we were wearing socks. Socks! That's not supposed to happen when cruising south. It's cold and rainy and windy and just miserable.

So we fired up the boat's heating system and got everything warm over a couple of hours. Karen turned happy. The comforter came out on the bed and we rushed down to get under the covers earlier than usual. The only problem for us was that it was a three dog night and we only had two dogs.

Glad to see that you guys are warm and secure in the Great Wicomico River.

The T&T list and ACM -

I thought you were pretty even handed with your comments on the iphone.

I thought about jumping in and describing how positive my experience with ACM has been on a Windows mobile device.

I chose not to, since the listmeister is a friend and neighbor, and I’d rather not make life difficult for him. Why? Somebody always complains about commercial posts.

I take it that even though you carry a iphone, you will not abandon us in the Windows world.

Weather - some models predict a western Caribbean storm that will effect the SE US in 10 days time.

Keep a “weather eye”.

There's no way I'm walking away from Windows Mobile in any way. For what it's worth, Karen only uses a Windows Mobile device.

ActiveCaptain is about inclusion. Our site grows with more data as more people use it - thereby providing additional benefit to everyone. Because of that, we need to support all devices. We've had really great support for Windows Mobile for a year now. It's time to give some love to iPhone users too! I'll work on Blackberry and Android after that as well. It doesn't mean that I'm not liking the other platforms. Thank heaven for the different devices creating competition and making all of them better.
